Aircraft Pressurization Systems

Pressurization

Have you wondered why we don’t use oxygen masks when flying at high altitudes? Aircraft are equipped with pressurization systems to allow us to breathe at an atmosphere lower than what we are flying at.

In this video you will learn how these pressurization systems work to allow us to breathe without using an oxygen mask at high altitudes, as well as how the control system works to maintain the structural integrity of the aircraft fuselage. We hope you enjoy it!

After completing the video, you will be quizzed to help reenforce the information about the video.  Good luck!
